Tulammo safety issue

About a year ago I bought some Tulammo 7.62x39, 122 gr., FMJ, steel cased with berdan primed rounds. The first time I shot the AK, no issues noted. This past week We shot thirty rounds and experienced missed fires. When the casing was checked, the primer was not struck. Upon further investigation we found the firing pin was not settled properly. When the firing pin retaining pin was removed it was bent some. Everything was replaced and fired one round when the firing pin came out and was loose in the receiver. The shell casings were inspected and found the primer was blown out. Has anyone else had an issue like this? It seems that the rounds might have been loaded hot. I am getting ready to email the company about this issue. Still love my AK.

Hmmmm, I have shot loads of Tulammo and have not experienced any issues.
*This is of course not to say that your issues can not be ammo related*. It would not hurt to send some of the round to the manufacturer to have them inspected to see if they are up to spec.

However, could it be that there was an issue with your reinstalled firing pin that caused the secondary issue?

What I would try is to put in a "new" Bolt assembly (the rotating inner part) and see how that works out. (for safety I'd try it on different ammo until you get the above settled. I don't know if you found this thread too but this link gives similar "advice" (replace bolt): http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=461536
